VEB not planning Eurobond placement - deputy chief

MOSCOW. June 20 (Interfax) - Vnesheconombank (VEB) is not planning to place Eurobonds on the market at present, deputy CEO Alexander Ivanov told journalists on Friday.

"We have no immediate plans to go to the European market," he said.

"We are monitoring the market," he said, adding that the bank is in contact with investors.

VEB will consider placing bonds if it sees an opportunity at an acceptable price.

Russian issuers have begun gradually returning to the international debt market after a three-month absence owing to the crisis surrounding Ukraine.
