Putin, Nazarbayev, Medvedev discuss Russia-Kazakhstan relations, Eurasian integration and Ukraine

MOSCOW. June 22 (Interfax) - President Vladimir Putin and Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev had a telephone conversation on Sunday, the Kremlin press service reports.

"The leaders of the two countries discussed key aspects of Russian-Kazakhstani relations and integration in the framework of the emerging Eurasian Economic Union. Certain topical international issues, including the crisis in Ukraine were raised," a report of the press service says.

Putin and Nazarbayev mulled the timetable of bilateral contacts for the nearest future.

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev also took part in the conversation.
