Former Otkritie exec tapped to lead Investtorgbank - source

MOSCOW. June 24 (Interfax) - Alexander Royko, until recently a member of the management board at Otkritie Financial Corporation (formerly Nomos-Bank ), is set to be appointed the CEO of Investtorgbank, a source close to Investtorgbank told Interfax.

"The decision on the new CEO will be made by shareholders at their meeting on Thursday, after which the candidacy must be agreed with the Central Bank," the source said.

Until recently Royko was a member of the management board and senior vice president at Otkritie, where he ran structural and project financing. He joined Nomos-Bank in 2002.

Investtorgbank's acting CEO is Alexei Salashchenko, who joined the bank in November 2013 as deputy CEO.

Investtorgbank was the 50th biggest Russian bank by assets as of the end of the first quarter of 2014 according to the Interfax-100 ranking compiled by the Center for Economic Analysis.
