Moscow has no pre-conditions for intra-Ukrainian crisis talks - Putin

VIENNA. June 24 (Interfax) - Russia is not setting any pre-conditions for the talks between Kyiv and representatives from southeast Ukraine, said Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"First of all, we are not setting any preconditions in the course of the talks between the authorities in Kyiv and the eastern Ukraine. Chiefly because Russia is not a party to this conflict," Putin told a press conference in Vienna on Tuesday.

At the same time, he stressed that the talks should be "about the future structure of Ukraine proper, with legitimate rights and interests guaranteed for the people living in the southeast of the country."
