Angara test launch called off, reasons unknown

PLESETSK (Arkhangelsk region). June 27 (Interfax) - The inaugural test launch of the Angara LV was cancelled several minutes before takeoff and tentatively delayed until the auxiliary date, Saturday, a source in the Federal Space Agency (Roscosmos) told Interfax-AVN.

"The launch is tentatively planned for 3:15 p.m. Moscow time on June 28," he said.

The source added that the reasons for the launch cancellation had been unknown.

"We will inquire about that now," Roscosmos head Oleg Ostapenko said.
