Sixth round of Iranian nuclear negotiations extended by five days

DUBAI. June 30 (Interfax) - The upcoming round of the Iranian nuclear problem negotiations will be extended by five days.

The sixth round of the negotiations will be held in Vienna on July 2-20, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi told the Iranian media.

Initially, the negotiations were supposed to end on July 15.

Araghchi said the foreign ministers of the P5+1 group (five permanent members of the UN Security Council and Germany) might join the negotiations in the case agreements were reached.

The negotiations between Iran and P5+1 aim at a final deal to resolve the Iranian nuclear problem. It was planned to draw up the deal by July 20.

The delegates started working on the text of the prospective agreement at the fifth round of negotiations.
