Emergency Situations Ministry convoy delivers humanitarian aid for Ukrainians to Rostov region

MOSCOW. June 30 (Interfax) - A Russian Emergency Situations Ministry convoy has delivered humanitarian aid for Ukrainian citizens to Russia's Rostov region, Emergency Situations Ministry spokesman Alexander Drobyshevsky said.

The convoy of 11 heavy-duty vehicles labeled humanitarian aid left early in the morning on June 29 from the Noginsk rescue center of the Emergency Situations Ministry and spent over 24 hours en route.

"The convoy delivered food, medications, hygiene means and essential articles. The total weight of the humanitarian cargo exceeds 90 tonnes. The issue on further transfers and delivery of humanitarian aid to Ukrainian citizens is currently being resolved," Drobyshevsky said.
