Peskov not aware of Elton John's plans to meet with Russian leaders during Dec trip to Russia

MOSCOW. June 30 (Interfax) - The Kremlin knows nothing about the plans of British singer Elton John to meet with Russian leaders during his trip to Russia in late 2014, Russian President Vladimir Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"We have not received any information, so we have nothing to talk about for now," Peskov told Govorit Moskva radio station.

It has been reported citing Elton John that he planned to come to Russia in December and that he would like to meet with Putin during this trip in order to discuss with him rights of sexual minorities in Russia.
