Over 360 tonnes of humanitarian aid delivered to south Russia shelters for Ukrainian refugees - ministry

MOSCOW. July 1 (Interfax) - More than 300 tonnes of humanitarian supplies have been delivered by the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry to temporary shelters in Russia's southern regions that are accommodating people who have fled fighting in southeastern Ukraine.

"All in all, over 360 tonnes of humanitarian aid have been delivered, including more than 90 tonnes by vehicles of the Noginsk rescue center," director of the ministry's Crisis Management Center Anatoly Yelizarov said during a conference call on Tuesday.

All 1,600 phone calls received at the ministry's emergency telephone hotline have been processed, he added.
