National Security Defense Council: 200 servicemen, law enforcers die in eastern Ukraine

KYIV. July 2 (Interfax) - Two hundred Ukrainian servicemen and law enforcement personnel died and 619 people were wounded in eastern Ukraine since the forceful operation started, the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council said.

"The total number of dead is 200 people since the counter-terrorism operation started," Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council information center representative Andriy Lysenko said at a briefing in Kyiv on Wednesday.
