Pension savings to go into non-state funds in 2015 - Siluanov
MOSCOW. July 3 (Interfax) - The freeze on pension savings will not extend into 2015, and these can be put into non-state fund of a citizen's choice, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov told reporters.
"The scheme in place this year will not be continued next year. Next year, all savings will go into non-state pension funds, as in 2013 and before," Siluanov said.
"This year, the public's pension savings went to the insurance portion of their accounts. These funds will be indexed at the level of inflation and at Pension Fund revenue so that people are not harmed," he said.
Starting next year, savings will go to non-state pension funds and the funds will place them "in reliable assets that can bring higher revenue than inflation plus Pension Fund revenue," Siluanov added.
