Russian Foreign Ministry recommends Russians in Israel to be cautious amid possible gunfire
MOSCOW. July 10 (Interfax) - The Russian Foreign Ministry said it urged Russian citizens, who are in Israel, to be cautious.
"Amid the existing situation we recommend Russian citizens, who are in Israel and Palestinian territory, be extremely cautious, avoid conflict zones, and refrain from going to sites which might be subject to gunfire," Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexander Lukashevich said at a briefing in Moscow on Thursday.
Moscow urges the parties of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict to stop violence, the spokesman said.
"We confirm commitment to real necessity to disrupt this vicious circle of violence and to stop suffering of civilians in Gaza Strip and southern Israel," Lukashevich said.
