Militiamen attack Ukrainian army positions near Zelenopolye village in Luhansk region

LUHANSK. July 11 (Interfax) - Militia fighters in southeast Ukraine have carried out a strike against army positions near the village of Zelenopolye, People's Front leader Alexei Chmilenko said.

"This morning Grad launchers were fired against army positions in Zelepolye. There is no accurate information about army losses," Chmilenko told Interfax on Friday.

"In my view, at the moment the scales are tipping in our favor. Forces have united under the command of Ihor Strelkov, as a result of which very soon we will be pushing the enemy away from our borders," Chmilenko added.

He also said that "there are many provocateurs around here, sowing panic among the population, but we will detect them and take adequate measures."
