Three shutdown checkpoints continue to let in Ukrainian refugees

ROSTOV-ON-DON. July 14 (Interfax) - Three border checkpoints, Novoshakhtinsk, Gukovo and Donetsk, have suspended operation over the threat posed by the ongoing gunfire on the Ukrainian territory, spokesman for the Rostov region department of the Federal Security Service's Border Service Vasily Malayev told Interfax.

"The Novoshakhtinsk and Gukovo checkpoints suspended operation on Monday morning and the Donetsk checkpoint is closed for business as of yet, but all the three checkpoints are letting in citizens arriving from southeastern Ukraine," Malayev said.
