Forty Russian KAMAZ trucks to be delivered to Central African Republic

MOSCOW. July 14 (Interfax) - The UN World Food Program has started an operation to deliver Russian KAMAZ trucks to the Central African Republic, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

"By agreement with the Russian Federation, the UN World Food program has started delivering 40 KAMAZ trucks to the Central African Republic. The trucks were handed over to the UN World Food Program as a contribution to its program for Afghanistan," The Foreign Ministry said in a statement, posted on its website on Monday.

Russian trucks will play a great role in the World Food Program's operation to deal with one of the worst humanitarian crises in the world and provide food aid to 400,000 people living in conditions of a continuing conflict in the Central African Republic, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
