Casualties in shelling attack on Luhansk bus terminal
KYIV. July 15 (Interfax) - A shelling attack on a Luhansk bus terminal on July 14 led to civilian casualties and damaged the building, the Luhansk City Council said on Tuesday.
"Among the targets hit in the shell attack on July 14 was the Luhansk regional bus terminal. Several people were injured. The building of the bus terminal was damaged. A shell hit a corner of the building on the second floor," it said, citing the bus terminal's press service.
Shells also reached the bus terminal's premises, destroying the roof in one parking area and blowing out windows in another. Passengers were evacuated to a bomb shelter.
A bus stop near the bus terminal was earlier shelled, too, leaving dents on the granite road curb and destroying kiosks.
"But the bus terminal remains operational," the press service said.
