Angara rocket cannot be used as ICBM - Roscosmos
MOSCOW. July 15 (Interfax-AVN) - The Angara launch vehicle cannot be used as an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM), said Alexander Ivanov, the first deputy chief of the Russian Federal Space Agency (Roscosmos).
"This will not happen. This is purely a space vehicle. By its characteristics, it cannot be used as an intercontinental ballistic missile," Ivanov said on the Ekho Moskvy radio station on Monday, commenting on the first test launch of the rocket, which saw it following a ballistic trajectory.
