Putin invites colleagues to next BRICS summit in Ufa in July 2015

FORTALEZA. July 16 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has said Russia will do its utmost to foster the BRICS role in the resolution of regional and global problems as the BRICS chair country.

"I invite all of you to the BRICS summit in Ufa on July 9-10, 2015," Putin said at a plenary meeting of the BRICS summit in Fortaleza.

He promised that the Russian presidency of BRICS in 2015 would ensure the continuity of the group operations and keep in mind the priorities spelled out by the Brazilian colleagues.

"We will also try to contribute new ideas to our practical efforts and do our best to foster the BRICS role in global affairs and the resolution of regional problems," Putin stated.
