Rostec says sanctions to have negative effect on its cooperation with U.S.
MOSCOW. July 17 (Interfax-AVN) - New U.S. sanctions against the companies incorporated in Rostec will have a negative impact on cooperation between some Russian and U.S. companies, Rostec said in a statement on Thursday.
"It can be said already now that the measures taken by Washington will negatively affect cooperation between a number of Russian and U.S. companies, threatening to undermine mutual trust," Rostec said.
"Analysts are examining the implications of the sanctions that the U.S. has imposed on a number of the corporation's holdings comprehensively," it said.
"Rostec has built business ties with its U.S. partners for years. Both our corporation and our American counterparts are interested in mutually beneficial cooperation. The corporation is pursuing mutually beneficial global projects with U.S. companies, the stoppage of which could negatively affect both countries' economies," it said.
