Luhansk militia claims hit IFV, destroyed mortar detachment of Ukrainian forces

LUHANSK. July 17 (Interfax) - Militia of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic (LPR) conducted artillery fire at positions of the Ukrainian Army, the press office of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) twitted.

"LPR militia held artillery fire at positions of the Ukrainian Army near Makarovo and Staraya Krasnyanka," the post said.

"An infantry fighting vehicle (IFV) has been hit and enemy's mortar detachment has been destroyed," the press office said.
