Rostov region opens 80 shelters for refugees from southeastern Ukraine
ROSTOV-ON-DON. July 18 (Interfax) - The Rostov region has taken in 34,022 settlers from southeastern Ukraine, the interdepartmental operative staff told Interfax.
"A total of 34,022 refugees from southeastern Ukraine are staying in the Rostov region. The region has deployed 80 shelters accommodating 4,538 persons, among them 1,696 children," a staff spokesman noted.
Many refugees are staying with their families and friends, he said.
