Lavrov accuses West of one-sided approach to Ukrainian crisis

MOSCOW. July 18 (Interfax) - The West is trying to advance just one-sided approach to the situation in Ukraine, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.

"Our Western partners have lost the manners typical of European citizens and are trying to advance pushily solely one-sided approaches doing everything the way they want," Lavrov said in an interview with the Rossiya-24 (Russia-24) TV channel.

"They simply try not to notice the gestures of good will on our side, and they were many," he said.

Western partners do not remind Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko of the necessity to fulfill own obligations, Lavrov said.

"During all this time no one told President Petro Poroshenko once that he must follow the obligations Ukraine has taken - to start constitutional dialogue, which would not be a parody or imitation, but a real negotiating process aimed at enhancing the Ukrainian state and based on the principles, which would be acceptable to all citizens," Lavrov said.
