Two civilians killed in Luhansk in past 24 hours - city council

LUHANSK. July 21 (Interfax) - Two civilians were killed and 12 were wounded in attacks on Luhansk in the past 24 hours, the press center for the city council reported on Monday.

"Two Luhansk civilians were killed and 12 were wounded in the continuing attacks on the city. Emergency services were called 117 times in the past 24 hours," the report says.

Twenty-six residential buildings and facilities were damaged.

According to the city council, the city's infrastructure was damaged in the fighting.

"Around 1:00 a.m. on July 20, the regional center was fully cut off from power supply. There was no electricity, water supply, or mobile communications," the city council has reported.
