Confectioner Mondelez in Russia ups revenue 13.1%

MOSCOW. July 21 (Interfax) - LLC Mondelez Rus (LLC Kraft Foods Rus until April 2013), the Russian subsidiary of international confectioner Mondelez, posted revenue of 55.2 billion rubles in 2013, up 13.1% year-on-year (48.9 billion), the SPARK Interfax database shows.

The growth rate achieved in 2012 was 9.3%.

Gross profit grew from 28.1 billion rubles in 2012 to 30.5 billion rubles in 2013. Net profit climbed to 1.46 billion rubles, compared to 880.6 million rubles in 2012.

LLC Mondelez Rus has operated on the Russian market for 19 years. It owns 5 plants in Vladimir, Leningrad and Novgorod regions. In that time the company has invested $1 billion in Russia.
