Inventive Retail Group boosts sales 27% in H1
MOSCOW. July 22 (Interfax) - Inventive Retail Group, a Russian retailer that manages the mono-brand stores Apple, Samsung, Lego, Nike and Prenatal, upped sales 26.8% in Russia in the first half of 2014 to 9.9 billion rubles (including VAT), the company reported.
Sales in similar stores grew 12.5% in this period.
The group expanded its shop floor space 27% in Russia. It opened 26 new stores, bringing the number to 255 in Russia.
Inventive Retail Group started working with Spain's UNOde50 in July. The company plans to open 10 UNOde50 stores over two years.
Inventive Retail also plans to open ten Prenatal Milano stores in 2014. The group started working with Prenatal in the fall of 2013. Earlier the group said it planned to open 20 prenatal stores in Russia over three years.
There are plans to bring one more chain to Russia in the second half of 2014, the company said.
The retailer boosted sales in Russia 49.6% in the first half of 2013 to 7.8 billion rubles.
Inventive Retail Group manages 287 stores (255 in Russia and 32 in Europe). The group was formerly called re.Store Retail Group.
Inventive Retail Group is part of the Lanit Group, founded and co-owned by Georgy Gens.
