Kyiv govt acts at West's dictation - Patrushev

MOSCOW. July 22 (Interfax) - The authorities in Kyiv have lost sovereignty and are acting to the dictation of outside forces, said Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev.

"It is the proteges of the West who came to power, who, in my view, have now lost their sovereignty to some extent, lost their independence in decision-making and act to outside dictation," Patrushev told journalists after a Russian Security Council meeting on Tuesday.

The authorities in Kyiv ignore objective information they receive and the need to analyze it, choosing instead simply to "present some events the way they want to see them, including by referring to social networks and incompetent opinions," Patrushev said.
