Three civilians killed in fighting in Luhansk in past 24 hours
MOSCOW. July 23 (Interfax) - Three civilians were killed in Luhansk in the past 24 hours, the Luhansk city council has reported on its website.
"Emergency services were called 145 times in the past 24 hours. Three civilians were reportedly killed and ten people were wounded in the fighting," the Luhansk city council reported on its website on Wednesday.
Twenty objects were damaged in the fighting, the report says.
"The continuing artillery shooting on the city caused damage to the city's infrastructure. The Dimitrov substations and the Lenin plant were damaged. Parts of the Leninsky district and the Zhovtnevy and the Kamennobrodny districts were cut off from power supply. Work is no being done to repair the infrastructure," the report says.
