In accordance with the terms of the tender, the Russian company will provide a turnkey solution for the repair of the steam turbine, generator and boiler unit, including the supply of parts for the main and auxiliary equipment and carrying out launch work. The work should be completed within 18 months.

"We are continuing our strategy to enter international markets. Winning the tender in Bangladesh is a very important stage in the promotion of our services on Southeast Asian markets," Yuri Sharov, the general director of the engineering company, was cited as saying.

Gorazal, the largest state-owned heat and power plant in Bangladesh with capacity of 950 megawatts, is located northeast of the capital Dhaka.
