First eight OSCE observers arrive at checkpoint on Russian border with Ukraine

ROSTOV-ON-DON. July 29 (Interfax) - A group of eight observers of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe's permanent mission has arrived at the Veselo-Voznesenka border checkpoint on Tuesday evening, spokesman for the Federal Security Service's Rostov regional department, Vasily Malayev, told Interfax on Tuesday.

"The observers are going through formal procedures at the checkpoint," Malayev said.

The OSCE experts have arrived in the Rostov region in seven motor vehicles.
