Brazilian military pilots could join Aviadarts-2015 pilots' competition

MOSCOW. July 29 (Interfax) - Brazil could send its pilots to the Aviadarts pilots' competition in Russia in 2015. If they arrive they will fly Russian aircarft, Brazilian Military Attache Marco Antonio de Freitas Coutinho told Interfax on Tuesday.

The Aviadarts-2014 international pilots' competition was closed in the Voronezh and Lipetsk regions on Monday. It was joined by 33 Russian air crews, including one from the Russian Navy, two from China and two from Belarus. Military attaches from India, Pakistan, Egypt and Brazil watched the competition. The number of participants will increase in 2015.

"We have received an invitation this year and it will be considered. We will join in if we have an opportunity," Coutinho said, adding that chances are high, but there are nuances - a long distance and problems in planning and organizing the transportation of aircraft.

"If Brazil confirms it will participate, we will fly helicopters, all of them Russian-made," the military attache said.
