Lavrov welcomes initiative to hold inter-Ukrainian talks in Minsk

DUSHANBE. July 30 (Interfax) - Moscow welcomes the initiative to hold talks between Ukrainian parties in Belarus.

"At all times we support talks and welcome any opportunity given for this and, of course, in this regard we welcome the proposal of Belarus," Lavrov said at a news conference in Dushanbe.

"We will welcome contacts and thank our Belarusian colleagues for helping Ukrainians to sit at the negotiating table after all," Lavrov said.
