Acting regional governor: 98 civilians evacuated from Luhansk

KYIV. July 30 (Interfax) - Ninety-eight civilians were evacuated from Luhansk in conflict-stricken eastern Ukraine through a humanitarian corridor on Wednesday, said the acting head of the Luhansk Regional State Administration.

"It was only possible to open [the corridor] at 2 p.m. Thirty-six vehicles, 98 people," Iryna Verihina told Interfax.

She said the corridor would be open daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
