Enel OGK-5 to get new CEO, Enrico Viale to head new Enel business unit
MOSCOW. July 31 (Interfax) - Italian group Enel has announced its reorganization, as a part of which the head of OJSC Enel OGK-5 , Enrico Viale, will head the Global Generation division of Enel, Enel OGK-5 said.
The board of directors of the Russian company will choose a new general director, the generating company said.
According to Enel's statement, the group will have several global business units that will be responsible for the management and development of assets in different geographical regions. In connection with Enrico Viale's transfer to the Global Generation division, Enel OGK-5's board of directors will select a new general director, the Russian company told Interfax. Viale will direct Enel OGK-5 until the new director's election. The name of the new general director has not yet been announced nor has a timeline for appointing him been determined.
Enrico Viale has headed Enel OGK-5 since the middle of 2010.
