Lavrov, ICRC chief discuss humanitarian issues of Ukraine, Syria, Gaza
MOSCOW. Aug 4 (Interfax) - The humanitarian issues in Ukraine, Syria and the Gaza Strip have been discussed between Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and the president of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Peter Maurer.
"A telephone conversation took place on August 4 between Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and the ICRC President Peter Maurer. The parties have exchanged their views on cooperation in the field of resolving the humanitarian problems in Ukraine, Syria and the Gaza Strip," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
