Gazprom Neft reduces crude oil sales 13% in H1, increased oil product sales 7%

MOSCOW. Aug 12 (Interfax) - Gazprom Neft reduced sales of crude oil 13% in the first half of 2014 year-on-year to 6 million tonnes and increased sales of refined product 7% to 24 million tonnes, the company said in its earnings report.

Oil exports to the CIS countries fell 71.4% to 0.56 million tonnes, reflecting a halt in exports to Kazakhstan.

Oil product exports rose 1.2% to 8.3 million tonnes.

Crude oil purchases in Russia and on the international market declined 11% to 3.04 million tonnes in the six months, including 1.97 million tonnes purchased in Russia, down 26%, and 1.07 million tonnes purchased on the international market, 45% more.

Gazprom Neft purchased 1.57 million tonnes of oil products on the international market, 43% more, and 0.12 million tonnes in the CIS countries, 50% more. Oil product purchases on the domestic market rose 21.5% to 1.13 million tonnes, reflecting the company's expanding retail network.
