EuroChem supplied 4.3 bln rubles of fertilizer to Ukraine in H1

MOSCOW. Aug 14 (Interfax) - EuroChem continued to supply fertilizer to Ukraine in H1 2014, but it could if necessary, redirect its products to different markets with minimal losses, the company said in a financial report to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

In H1, the Ukrainian market accounted for 4.5% of the group's total sales volume or about 4.3 billion rubles.

"While an established presence in Ukraine remains an important part of our CIS distribution strategy, management is monitoring and assessing the situation in Ukraine on an ongoing basis and believes that sales could be redirected to other markets at minimal costs should EuroChem's profitability in the Ukrainian market be impaired," the report said.
