Russian program to replace U.S. military-purpose imports should be adopted in fall - commission
MOSCOW. Aug 14 (Interfax-AVN) - The Russian government will formulate a program to replace military-purpose products imported from the United States by the fall of 2014, the deputy chairman of the Russian government's Military-Industrial Commission, Oleg Bochkaryov, has said.
"The president has already endorsed one program aimed at replacing Ukrainian imports. Another program to replace U.S. imports will appear this fall," he said at the Oboronexpo-2014 exhibition on Thursday.
"It will not be an easy task, but we hope that our accumulated potential will allow us to accomplish it," he said.
