Kyiv rally demands adoption of lustration bill

KYIV. Aug 14 (Interfax) - Around 1,000 people joined a rally outside the Ukrainian parliament building in Kyiv on Thursday demanding the adoption of reform bills, including a lustration bill.

The action, which involves supporters of the far-right party Svoboda (Freedom), Civil Position, the Volya political party, the Right Sector and the AutoMaidan, is hampering traffic along some parts of Hrushevsky Street, an Interfax correspondent has reported.

Some 200 people holding Ukrainian state flags and flags of different parties have now filled Constitution Square outside the Verkhovna Rada building.
