Issues in supply of Russian aid to Ukraine fully resolved - Lavrov

BERLIN. Aug 18 (Interfax) - All issues relating to the supply of Russian humanitarian aid to southeastern Ukraine have been fully resolved, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.

"Eventually, all issues that were in many respects artificial, have now been resolved. Agreements have been reached with Ukraine and the International Committee of the Red Cross," he told reporters on Monday.

"I hope this aid will reach those people who need it in the nearest future," Lavrov said.

Lavrov also said the Western media lost interest in the issue of the delivery of Russian humanitarian aid as soon as an agreement was reached on it.

"As soon as all concocted suspicions were eliminated, the foreign media lost all interest in it, and I haven't seen any reports on the Western channels on what is now going on with this aid," Lavrov said.
