Russia's drug control chief reports seizure of major heroin batch in "New Moscow"
MOSCOW. Aug 18 (Interfax) - Almost 180 kg of heroin were seized in the so-called "New Moscow," Russian Federal Drug Control Service Chief Viktor Ivanov told reporters in Moscow on Tuesday.
"The operation ended with the arrest of five participants and seizure of a total of 178 kg of heroin. The heroin contained 65% diacetylmorphine, this is highly-concentrated drug," Ivanov said.
