Attack on Donetsk resumes - eyewitnesses
DONETSK. Aug 22 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian military opened fire on the Petrovsky district of Donetsk on Friday afternoon, eyewitnesses said.
"There was a salvo on the Petrovsky district. We think it was fired from Ugledar. Smoke can be seen near the construction factory," locals told Interfax.
According to eyewitnesses, explosions and dust were also seen in the residential area. Emergency services and ambulances have left for the area. There is currently no precise information on the people hurt in the attack.
In the meantime, the press center for the Donetsk city council said on Friday morning that residents in some districts of Donetsk, including the central part of the city, were hurt by artillery attacks last night.
