NATO-Ukraine Commission to gather in Brussels upon Ukraine's request - source
BRUSSELS. Aug 28 (Interfax) - An unscheduled meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Commission at the level of ambassadors will be held in NATO headquarters in Brussels upon the request of Ukraine on August 29, a NATO source told Interfax.
First, a scheduled meeting of the North Atlantic Council will take place and then, upon the request of Ukrainians, the NATO-Ukraine Commission will gather, the source said without elaborating further.
The reason for calling the commission meeting is the latest situation development in eastern Ukraine, a Ukrainian diplomatic said told Interfax.
