Luhansk airport runway destroyed by army deliberately - SNBO

KYIV. Sept 2 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian military blew up the runway at Luhansk Airport, said Andriy Lysenko, a spokesman for the National Security and Defense Council.

"After the army left Luhansk Airport, our explosion experts blew up the runway, thus making it impossible to use," Lysenko said at a Tuesday briefing.

He also claimed that the Ukrainian military are keeping hold of Donetsk Airport.
