Pharmacy Chain 36.6 shareholders to reconsider additional issue of 1.4 bln shares on Oct 28

MOSCOW. Sept 4 (Interfax) - Shareholders of OJSC Pharmacy Chain 36.6 will consider placing 1.4 billion shares at an extraordinary shareholders meeting on October 28 as part of a merger with the A.v.e pharmacy chain, the company said in a statement.

The register to participate in the meeting, which will be held in absentia, closes September 15.

Pharmacy Chain 36.6 has already held shareholders meeting twice to approve an additional issue of shares, but both meetings did not take place due to lack of quorum.

The pharmacy chain was initially planning to place an additional 595 million shares at 22.4 rubles apiece as part of the A.v.e. merger. The shareholder meeting to consider this was set for March of this year.

The planned additional issue was then increased to 1.4 billion shares. Pharmacy Chain 36.6 shareholders were called together for a meeting in late August.

The company's charter capital consists of 105 million shares.
