Russian govt to allot almost 250 mln rubles to Crimea for helping Ukrainian refugees

MOSCOW. Sept 9 (Interfax) - Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has ordered to allot 248.8 million rubles to Crimea in an inter-budget transfer to finance temporary accommodation of refugees from Ukraine, the government website said on Tuesday.

The resolution orders socioeconomic support to displaced persons from Ukraine, who are staying at shelters in Crimea, through the year 2014.

The document was drafted by the Russian Regional Development Ministry.
