Putin heads military industrial committee, Rogozin becomes deputy
MOSCOW. Sept 10 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has headed the Russian military and industrial committee and Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin has become his deputy.
"The resolution on the Russian military and industrial committee has been signed. It is reassigned to the president directly. We have discussed this issue with the prime minister and decided it would be more efficient, meaning it will deal now to a large extent with import substitution issues, and here according between different, not governmental ones only, agencies and other structures reporting directly to the president is needed," Putin said at a meeting on the state arms program until 2025.
