Russia capable of prompt strike system in response to U.S. developments - deputy defense minister

MOSCOW. Sept 10 (Interfax-AVN) - Russian defense enterprises are capable of creating analogues to the global prompt strike system being developed in the United States, Russian Deputy Defense Minister Yury Borisov told reporters on Wednesday.

"We will be forced to do this, if this becomes a real threat. But first of all we will develop systems to fight these news types of arms because after all defense is main doctrine of our country," Borisov said.
