Five State Duma deputies included in EU sanctions list

BRUSSELS. Sept 12 (Interfax) - The European Union has expanded the sanctions list of private individuals who Brussels believes are associated with the events in Ukraine, the Official Journal of the European Union reported on Friday.

Among the people added to the list are State Duma deputies Svetlana Zhurova, Nikolai Levichev, Ivan Melnikov, Igor Lebedev, Alexander Babakov, and Alexander Zakharchenko, leader of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic.
