Approaches of SCO states to cooperation on pressing int'l issues, including Ukraine, identical or close - Putin

DUSHANBE. Sept 12 (Interfax) - Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) states have identical approaches to pressing international issues, including regarding the situation in Ukraine, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.

"During a private meeting we discussed other pressing issues of the international agenda, including the situation in Ukraine. We are quite satisfied with the fact that our approaches on the main directions of cooperation have turned out to be identical or close," Putin said at an expanded meeting of SCO leaders.

Such solidarity in views is reflected in the Dushanbe declaration being passed, Putin said.
