Putin: If Russia imposes sanctions in response to West, they are to not cause damage to Russia
DUSHANBE. Sept 12 (Interfax) - Russia is thinking about measures in response to the West's sanctions, and if it takes any steps, then they will be only to protect its own interests, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
"As concerns our response measures, the government is thinking about this, but even if they are taken, then only to provide better conditions for ourselves," Putin told journalists following a Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in Dushanbe.
